Darren was invited by The British Council to go to India and work on developing a puppetry show to promote hygiene.

The show was for The Unbox festival held at The British Council building in Delhi where we presented our work and it was an amazing experience working with some of the leading puppeteers in India on the show, and also the challenge of creating a 30 minute puppetry show, working with a team of Indian collaborators – occasionally fighting the language barrier within the script and fighting the cultural barrier.

The show will now be redeveloped and tour across the whole of India, playing as part of a huge Yatra (carnival) to thousands of families. Darren may have a chance to go back and re-write and re-direct the show at a later date.
